JK FOUNDATION 2013 - 2014

JK Foundation felicitated the students who has excelled in their academics by using the facilities provided by JK Foundation and the teachers who served well for JK Foundation for making the students achieve more are also felicitated in the event conducted by JK Foundation in Tag Center, Chennai.

Joint Directors of Vizhupuram, Cuddalore, Thiruvannamalai were present during the event.

The students who have used the facilities provided by us and excelled in their academics by getting the first, second and third marks in their 10th standard board examination in these 20 schools :

2. E.Desamuthu, 475, Manaloor Pettai
3. D. Danasekar, 470, Entiyoor

Likewise for the students studying in 12th Standard scored
1. K.V. Akila – 1133 Murugambakkam
2. R. Sandhiya – 1073 Marakkanam
3. R. Sandhiya – 1073 Marakkanam

Since the need is immense, one JK Foundation cannot possibly bring about a great shift. But this project has definitely proved the effectiveness of private and public partnership.

In the event of Felicitation JK Foundation screened a Documentary film “Naangalum Padikkanum” to exhibit the service and the results made by adopting the Vizhupuram District to the public so that we can inspire at least a few institutions and broadminded people adopt few more districts and do this great service to humanity.

In the academic year of 2013-14

Having succeeded in the adoption of Vizhupuram district done in the year 2011 – 2012 by improvising the results of the adopted schools into double, JK Foundation gained confidence to continue the adoption of Vizhupuram Distict but not limiting to twenty government schools but has adopted the entire district and also thiruvannamalai, Vellore districts.

This year, JK Foundation took intense steps to improvise the results of all the four districts by providing the following;

Vizhupuram Disctrict adoption:

JK Foundation signed the Memorandum of Understanding with the Chief Educational Officer of Vizhupuram & Thiruvannamalai Districts in the Middle of November, 2013 and with Vellore in January 2014 and immediately appointed 120 Teachers in Vizhupuram District, 33 teachers in Thiruvannamalai, 100 Teachers in Vellore District for the subjects in which teachers are not available in the adopted Schools.

As like previous year, this year also JK Foundation conducted motivational class for the 10th and 12th children to encourage students to take action that moves them forward, to help people unlock their true potential, Encourage academic achievement, good reading habits, perfect attendance and positive connections within the school and community. The speakers in turn capture the hearts and minds of those listening.

Motivational program by JK Foundation was conducted in Kallakurichi, vizhupuram and thirukovilur in which the entire students of the adopted schools participated.

The motivational program will make the students to feel that it touch their heart, uplift their soul, providing accepted students with the opportunity to gain firsthand knowledge of the requirements of the education, evaluate and determine how best to successfully approach them in the future and encourage them when they’ve been knocked down. Hopefully, speech will remind them of how they felt when they first set those goals.

JK Foundation has received the positive feedback from the students who have attended the motivational program conducted in all the three places.

JK Foundation also distributed over 5 lakh question bank books with answers to all the 10th and 12th students in Vellore, Thiruvannamalai, Vizhupuram district so as to increase the pass percentage.

Results

Finally, the results were announced. As a result of the hard work from all the people involved, the schools adopted by JK Foundation came out in flying colors.
Vizhupuram district climbed the rank ladder 2 more steps over taking two districts with the pass percentage of 85.14% in 12th standard, 82.66% in 10th standard and as an additional surprise, 28 government schools has achieved 100% pass percentage in 10th standard.
Vellore District achieved 85.17% in 12th standard and 87.35% in 10th standard. Compared to last year results, 5% were increased.
Tiruvanamalai district achieved 74.4% in 12th standard and 77.8% in 10th standard, Compared to last year results, 5% were increased.
This is the first time where a private firm has joined hands with the government department to bring about this kind of tremendous improvement.
’Serving the students and to provide the right education is our aim, this education service gives more satisfaction to us. So we planning to continue the adoption”, said by JK Foundation, Managing Director Mr. Jaya Krishnan and Managing trustee Mrs. Kamatchi Jayakrishnan. Both of them are exemplar to the society for this education service.
